How to register AK/PK?
Please do not try to run the your_name.key file - it is not a registry entry, it has its own encrypted format. You need to unzip this file and follow the given below instructions:
Please do the following:
1)save/copy ak.key file to the folder, you have installed the program to. By default it is C:\ProgramFiles\Anti-Keylogger
2)now open the program and click on "Register" button (see image 1)
3)if the file was copied correctly, you will see your_name.key on the left. Please double-click on it as shown on image 2 or just select the file (left-clicking once on it) and click 'Ok'.
About White list
You can add the executive files (*.exe) of your trusted programs to the White List of Anti-Keylogger (in Protection Policy menu). All the modules, belonging to added programs will be excluded from the influence of Anti-Keylogger.
Do I need to pay only once? Are updates free? How long does the license work? How does the program work?
License key-files for our products have no time-limitations - they are valid life-long. So, our customers need to pay only once to protect their computer(s) for any period of time. But please note that the number of computers our program is used on at the same time shouldn't exceed the number of purchased licenses.
We also offer free update opportunities for all our users (also without any time restrictions). As soon as a new version of our product is released, it can be downloaded from our sites and installed instead of the existing one. Any version (past, current of future) can be registered with the same key-file our customer is provided with after the purchase. There are no exact updating periods - once a current version is somehow improved, a new one is released (sometimes in a month, sometimes in several months).
As for your last question, our anti-monitoring products Anti-Keylogger does not perform full system scan ? the principle is a bit different. The program analyzes all the active modules on
your computer and in case some of them start showing suspicious activity (e.g. try to intercept your keystrokes), deactivates them, keeping your information safe. Please note that Anti-Keylogger does not delete keyloggers: nowadays malware is getting more and more sophisticated and very often it is nearly impossible to remove malware that works deeply on kernel level without seriously damaging your operating system. So, blocking seems to be the most reliable way of protection.
Anti-Keylogger is capable of detecting and blocking (deactivating) any software keyloggers that try to intercept your information - old and new, widespread and rare - even those made by you personally. All this is possible, because Anti-Keylogger uses no signature bases (unlike the majority of products on the market, which means that it is capable of beating most popular keyloggers only), but is built on heuristic analysis.
Some programs don?t work after installation of Anti-Keylogger
It is possible that some modules belonging to those programs were blocked by Anti-Keylogger. Please see what modules are marked with red ?X? in Auto-detected modules list of Protection Policy menu. Once you move the cursor to their names, you'll be shown their location. If you see by location that the module belongs to some legal program, you can unblock it clicking on it.
You can also add the .exe files of your trustful programs to the White List of Anti-Keylogger to exclude these programs from its influence.
I?ve the impression that Anti-Keylogger is disabled. In the past, I got a "round green" icon in the right corner after startup. (Just after startup I see the "grey line" with "your PC is protected by Anti-Keylogger". Why I don't get this green icon anymore? I don't know now how to get in the control mode of anti-keylogger.
Please, do the following:
1) Run Anti-Keylogger
2) Find section "For [User's name]" in "Options" menu
3) Make sure that the item "Display the icon in the system tray" is marked
4) Find section "Advanced" in "Options" menu
5) Make sure that the item "Automatically launch protection when the system starts" is marked
SFC/Scannow message
This message is shown when Anti-Keylogger loads operating system modules and finds that some doesn't have the appropriate certificate. It means there can possibly be a risk of a replaced system file.
Sfc/scannow command checks all system files for authenticity. It can be run from Start-->Run... Please note that you need to insert your Windows CD before starting it.
Anyway, if you decide not to run the process, you can always mark ?Don't show this message again? and continue working with Anti-Keylogger. The program will work without any problems, protecting you from keyloggers like it usually does.
Forgot password
Sorry, but knowing the password is vital for reconfiguring or uninstalling our program. Much attention was paid to self-protection mechanisms and no backdoors were left in security of Anti-Keylogger. Thus only a person who knows the password can remove the program or change important settings.
